This is the personal web site for Arthur E. Lemay, in Paris and Souillac, France. If you follow the links you will uncover a lot of stuff I have written over the years. The only software dependency is Adobe's Flash player used for videos, and a MP3 player which is installed if you hear the music. I wrote the panorama player in Javascript, and it runs fine, except on old and slow computers. You need to permit pop-ups, othewise you won't see the spectacular full screen view from the Eiffel Tower.
The Marais is an interesting neighborhood in Paris. Marais means marecage in English, or to be less polite, it means a swamp. You would never think it would become the most fashionable neighborhood in Paris.
The view of the Tour St. Jacques is taken from the Rue St. Martin, one block away from our home on Rue Pernelle. The music is from a Naxos album of classical music which features eastern European artists. There are 36 selections, chosen randomly.
